Agent Feature:

Bill Perry is a hometown boy. He grew up on a cattle farm in north Opelika and was one of four siblings. He graduated from Auburn University and received his master’s degree from LSU. He has been a licensed agent since 1989 and received his broker’s license after retiring from banking. Bill spent most of his banking career in the Auburn-Opelika area as a commercial lender, then retired as a bank president. His commercial banking career prepared him for the financial side of the real estate industry where he acquired knowledge for preparing cash flow statements for commercial, development, institutional, timberland, commercial/residential construction and investment properties. Through return on investment with the owner or placing the buyer’s goals first and foremost, Bill creates a consultative approach to real estate. He has extensive involvement in numerous developments in the Auburn, Opelika, Dadeville, Lake Martin, Beauregard, Beulah, Cusseta, Chambers County, Lee County and Macon County areas.

Bill is an avid runner, mountain biker and triathlete having competed around the world in several Ironman events, weeklong endurance mountain bike races, 32 marathons,  and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. He has been an active youth coach for more than 20 years and is the current head coach for the Auburn High School Mountain Bike team since its inception. They have currently won the State Championship three times. He is also a founding board member for CAMP-SORBA which builds and maintains more than 30 miles of public, multi-purpose trails in east Alabama. He has been an Opelika Chamber Ambassador, an Auburn Chamber Diplomat as well as president of the Auburn-Opelika Jaycees. He is also a 1996 graduate of Leadership Lee County. Bill is married to Jane Perry who is a local mortgage lender. He has four adult children of whom he is immensely proud!
